About BayList
BayList keeps track of what is actually happening around Tampa Bay on any given day — the happy hours, the weekly specials, the one-off events — so that deciding where to go takes a few seconds instead of twenty minutes of scrolling.
How a deal gets here
Most of what you see is a recurring pattern rather than a post. A bar tells us their happy hour runs Monday to Friday, four until seven, and it appears on the right days from then on without anyone re-entering it. That is why the list stays current without a person typing it out every morning.
Listings come from three places: businesses submitting their own, readers pointing things out, and us going and looking. Everything is reviewed by a person before it appears.
When something is wrong
Deals end, kitchens change hands, and nobody sends us a memo. Every listing has a way to tell us it is no longer running, and enough reports move it out of sight and in front of an editor. If something is wrong, saying so is genuinely the most useful thing you can do here.
The date night series
Once a week for twenty-six weeks, one idea, A through Z. It is the same city you already live in, organised so you stop going to the same three places. Have a look.
